    To perform this job as a
    Director, of GMII Billing and International Vendor Processing you will be responsible for providing direction, expertise, and leadership to the Graebel Transportation Client Financial Services department.

    Responsible for all operational activities for a department that accurately interprets tariffs, estimates, contracts, and client policies for payable approval, revenue recognition, and invoicing of Graebels domestic and international house hold good services.

    PRINCIPAL/ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Coordinates manage and direct the departmental processes, activities, and outcomes for Transportations Client Financial Services in the area of competence. This includes but is not limited to, developing and monitoring internal controls, creating process efficiency, ensuring adherence to established processes, and performance management. Demonstrates a clear understanding of the company goals/ objectives and implements strategy for execution.
    • Directs departmental staffing in line by creating budgets and headcount targets. Includes ongoing capacity management, defining performance goals/objectives/ metrics, and process performance measures. Monitors overall operational costs and implements strategies to reduce them. Ensures staffing is at optimal levels based on work volume, complexity, and forecasting. Ensures staff is properly trained, procedures are documented and available to staff. Promotes staffs career goals and progressions, developing opportunities for staff development.
    • Leads overall department development by directing special projects, developing advanced processes and systems, works across all operational teams to ensure departmental success, and proactively works with all Graebel departments to meet company goals and objectives.
    • Ensures compliance to client service level agreements, cycle time standards, quality goals, and client satisfaction targets. Develops and adjusts workflow management strategies to prevent financial risks/penalties and adherence to deadlines.
    • Provides guidance /leadership to the team, including manager(s), supervisors, and associates within the department. Leadership escalation point of contact for all internal stakeholders and external clients.
    • Directly manages multi-site department of subordinate supervisor(s) who supervise(s) a total of 30-35 employee(s).
    • Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance, rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

    Minimum requirement; general educational background, plus 5- 7 years related experience and/or training, and 5-7 years related management experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

    CRP or GMS
