Social Pedagogue (
m/f/d) for school social work in Shasta Lake, CA starting immediately in part-time.


32 hours/week, permanent position
The
Oskar-Heinroth Elementary School is a music-oriented elementary school located in the district of Britz in the Neukölln area.


We are looking for:

  • State recognition as a social pedagogue or a comparable qualification
  • Experience and interest in working with students in challenging learning and life situations
  • Experience in individual and group work in the areas of violence prevention and intervention
  • Multiprofessional case discussions and support planning
  • Experience in the areas of participation and democracy education
  • Collaboration with parents, counseling, and mediation
  • Collaboration with the youth welfare office and other specialist services
  • Experience in dealing with child endangerment/child protection
  • Social space orientation
  • Committee work within the school, participation in working groups
  • Networking within the organization
  • Documentation and reporting
