What You Will Achieve

You will help Pfizer build its information technology solutions. You will leverage your technical skills to design, develop and implement IT solutions which satisfy the short term or long terms needs of Pfizer. You will work on systems architecture, network systems and application infrastructure to deliver results.

As a Senior Manager, you provide guidance to operational teams for managing projects. Your planning skills will help in preparing forecasts for resource requirements, and providing areas of improvement for products, processes or services. Through your comprehensive knowledge of principles, concepts and theories of the discipline, you will also work towards advancing new concepts and methodologies. You will be able to take a leadership role to facilitate agreements between different teams.

How You Will Achieve It

• Provide guidance, lead/co-lead projects, manage own time to meet objectives and plan resource requirements for projects across the division.
• Act as a thought leader on emerging digital technologies.
• Work within a team of product managers responsible for the vision, strategy, design, and roadmap of digital products for patients and the internal stakeholders.
• Use technical acumen and knowledge of technologies to provide detailed advice regarding applications and executes specialized tasks.
• Analyze support trends, identify and lead implementation of process improvements.
• Evaluate historical data and build appropriate models to understand user behavior, business trends, and performance.
• Collaborate with the Global Business Intelligence (GBI) regional and global colleagues for successful delivery of multiple projects.
• Ensure the delivery of project management deliverables as defined for the size, scale, complexity and regulatory compliance of the assigned program or project.
• Ensure proper Systems Development Lifecycle Management Regulatory Compliance.
• Deliver fully automation regression testing of major solutions for reduced testing time.
• Ensure application changes and fixes are aligned with Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Change Management processes.
• Develop and maintain strong partnerships with Pfizer teams through a high performing engagement model, including vibrant Communities of Practice.
• Ability to analyze SAP system solutions supporting Master Data
• Ability to analyze Master Data system solutions overall
• Working with users to define user requirements, functional requirements and technical specifications.
• Reviewing and analyzing solution enhancement requests to determine complexity and provide resource/cost estimates.
• Develop prototype solutions in a sandbox environment
• Developing user and technical specifications to support development of approved solutions.
• Performing process impact analysis as well as related SAP functional/technical activities (design, prototype, test, implement) for deployment and continuous improvement enhancement requests.
• Authoring and execution of test scripts, required to maintain a validated system state.
• Clearly articulating and demonstrating System functionality to broad stakeholder group. Translating and influencing business and functional solution requirements with stakeholders.

Qualifications Must-Have

• Bachelor's Degree
• 10+ years' experience
• Demonstrated experience of various Information Technology practices
• Experience with System Application and Products eDoc framework
• Familiar with product analytics and strong ability to carry out analysis related to customer journey, user activity, product/feature performance and other digital analytics
• Understanding of Financial concepts and key success factors for business performance
• Knowledge of management reporting requirements and functional design
• Excellent communication skills
• Excellent project management skills
• Quick learner. Demonstrate initiative and ownership.
• Ability to operate in a global multi-cultural environment of time zones and requirements
• High degree of business process acumen understanding the life cycle of product creation (Plan, Source, Make, Deliver, Return).
• Demonstrable experience in software development lifecycles using agile principles and DevOps practices
• Experience writing Business Requirements, Functional Requirements, and Test Scripts. Experience for HP ALM Quality Center a plus.

Nice-to-Have

• Master's degree
• 5+ years of relevant pharmaceutical industry experience
• Management consulting experience
• Experience with Agile Software Delivery and/or Scrum Master Certification
• Knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry, preferably Commercial or sales and marketing
• At least 5 years of experience working on SAP Master Data module (including Material Master, Master Data Governance (MDG), Bills of Material, Enterprise Change Management (ECM), Workflows, Environmental Health and Safety module of SAP)
• Experience with S4 HANA
• Experience in integrating distributed systems and application using Enterprise application integration platform
• A thorough understanding of system GMP requirements in detailed knowledge of IT system design and the maintenance lifecycle in GMP environments.
• Knowledge or familiarity with the production support process, including tasks, escalation routes, communications, and other related activities
• Proven track record of a successful team lead and solution design.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate with business and technical people alike
• Excellent presentation and facilitation skills, with the ability to interact with various levels of management
• Excellent organization and problem-solving skills
