- Establish and cultivate therapeutic relationships with clients and their families
- Conduct accurate assessments and develop personalized treatment objectives based on client feedback and strengths
- Deliver continuous therapeutic interventions to help clients overcome obstacles
- Create and maintain documentation such as assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes promptly
- Collaborate with fellow professionals as part of a comprehensive treatment team
- Ensure timely completion and submission of all necessary documentation
- Nurture connections with referring professionals
- Facilitate suitable referrals to aftercare programs
- Engage in utilization review and ASAM for insurance purposes
- Master's degree in a human service field
- Licensed as LCMHC, LCSW, LCAS, or LMFT, or eligibility for licensure
- Experience in leading group therapy sessions
- Familiarity with experiential therapy
- Current CPR/AED/Basic First Aid certification (training provided)
- Current Nonviolent Crisis Intervention certification (training provided)
- Dual licensed in addiction and mental health treatment (or willing to obtain both licenses)
- Background in working with young adults in an eco-therapeutic environment

The Willows at Red Oak Recovery is nestled in the picturesque rolling hills of the Blue Ridge Mountains near Asheville, N.C. We specialize in offering a transformative substance abuse and mental health treatment program tailored for young adult women.
We are on the lookout for a dedicated Primary Therapist to join our team. As a Primary Therapist, you will play a crucial role in providing gender-specific, clinically-focused, and trauma-informed care to facilitate healing.
