    Description
    Sr. Software Engineer
    $70 to $80 per hour
    2024 Contract (possible extension)
    100% Remote
    No Sponsorship

    Our respected client has a great opportunity for a Sr. Software Engineer. This remote position will be focusing on building out a better digital experience for their customers. This person will be helping transform how the client and their costumers interact.

    Some projects include, Modernizing their data and tech, helping build and update their mobile app and building a chat bot.

    Requirements

    • 5+ Years of work experience with modern web application development
    • Passion for writing high quality code in JavaScript/Typescript
    • Strong practical Knowledge of

    Web Technologies Backend:
    NodeJS and TypeScript).

    • Experience building SPAs and NodeJs backend solutions
    • Very good understanding of data modeling and storage using SQL(Postgres)
    • Ability to collaborate with designers to review and implement UI/UX designs
    • Deep interest and expertise in building data-intensive applications
    • Strong English in both written and verbal
    • Ability to work in a dynamic and fast paced environment
    • Hands on experience with server less architectures
    • Hand-on experience with Cloudwatch and Lambda or equivalent technology from other providers
    • Hands on experience with AWS API, S3, Cognito, IAM CloudWatch and Lambda
    • Hands on experience with jest, mocha/chai or other testing software
    • Collaborate with other engineers within and outside the team
    • Speak up and actively participate in agile ceremonies
    • Demonstrate accountability in deliverables
    • Support production environment on a rotation policy Basis
    Nice to haves

    • Hands-on experience with CDK or CFT
    • Hands-on Experience with AppSync, Apollo, ReactQuery and/or GraphQL
    • Hands on experience with Puppeteer , Selenium or similar
