Loader Operator - Lititz, United States - Highway Materials, Inc.
Description
Responsibilities:
- Operate loader from start up to shut down in a safe and productive manner
- Light to heavy mechanical maintenance to ensure constant production
- Properly use scale to avoid overloading outside customers
- Fast paced /safe operation of all equipment
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment, such as checking oils/ greasing
- Monitor loading /yard conditions
- Properly do a daily checklist on all equipment operated
- Follow safety procedures when operating trucks/loader
- Assist at plant if the need arises, cleanup/breakdown
Requirements:
- High School Diploma (or GED)
- Punctuality and reliability
- Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
- Ability to operate and maintain heavy equipment
- Experience operating rubber tire loaded preferred
- Ability to work overtime when required
- Ability and willingness to work in all weather conditions, including heat, cold, rain, snow, etc.
- Ability to work well with others
- Ability to follow MSHA rules and assist in enforcing
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written
- Excellent customer service skill

$ $24.00 per hour
