Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized individual to join our team as a Medical Scribe.
As a Medical Scribe, you will work closely with healthcare professionals to accurately transcribe medical documentation and assist with various administrative tasks.
This is an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in gaining experience in the medical field.Responsibilities:
- Accurately transcribe medical records and documentation in realtime during patient encounters
- Assist healthcare professionals with data entry, charting, and other administrative tasks
- Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure accurate and complete medical documentation
- Organize and manage medical records, ensuring they are uptodate and easily accessible
- Prepare and distribute reports, correspondence, and other documents as needed
Qualifications:
- Previous experience working in a medical office or similar setting is preferred
- Excellent typing skills with the ability to type quickly and accurately
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, and anatomy
- Proficient in using computer systems and electronic health record (EHR) software
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work in a fastpaced environment and adapt to changing priorities
