Our APs work with internal and external development teams to coordinate delivery of products and features, review quality, help manage staff, and hit the aforementioned deadlines.


Responsibilities:


  • Assist in the development of various size projects throughout each phase of production and live operations, with oversight at key milestones and final product reviews
  • Work with development staff to define project scope and deliverables that support business goals
  • Act as a liaison, coordinating multiple disciplines such as Development, Art, Audio, Animation, Design, and QA, in order to fulfill project goals
  • Help the production team write features designs, test early iterations, and provide product feedback
  • Manage and track tasks, negotiate priorities with development team and stakeholders
  • Track project milestones and deliverables. Report progress, risks and issues on the project to key stakeholders
  • Navigate the QA database and help manage QA process track issues, assign tasks, and manage QA resources for projects
  • Review analytics, guide priorities for product development and support
  • Coordinate and validate MLB branded content in internal and external game products — cultivating the MLB brand for gaming community

Required Skills and Experience:


  • You're passionate about games, you play games and you are knowledgeable about games
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in AAA mobile and/or game development or been part of a team that has delivered at least one AAA title to market
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Technically savvy with a good understanding of computer systems and software
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Programs such as PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
  • Has a high degree of flexibility in approach and is able to balance structure and process with the needs of a creative and dynamic environment

Desired Skills and Experience

  • Highly motivated leader who can learn quickly
  • Good understanding of the rules of baseball
  • Can communicate vision and quality objectives within the product development team
  • Ability to demonstrate a practical knowledge of project management methodologies
  • Strong organizational, analytical, prioritization, and interpersonal skills
  • Comfortable with spreadsheet software
  • Previous experience in JIRA or other issue tracking database software
  • Previous scripting software experience or game engine experience
  • Previous experience with 3D data visualization

Per the NYC pay transparency law, the hiring range for this position is $65,000-$85,000.
