We are seeking a dedicated Nurse Practitioner to join our bustling neurology outpatient practice with a focus on brain injury, neuromuscular, and general neurology.

This role requires a compassionate professional who is adept at managing a diverse patient load and contributing to our mission of delivering exceptional patient care.

Job Type:
Starting as Part Time (20 hours a week)

Hourly Range:
$ $85.00 per hour (based on experience)

Essential Duties

Maintain ongoing tracking and appropriate documentation on referrals to promote team awareness and ensure patient safety.
Ensure complete and accurate registration, including patient demographic and current insurance information.
Assemble information concerning patient's clinical background and referral needs. Per referral guidelines, provide appropriate clinical information to referring physician.
Ensure prior approval requirements are met, including insurance eligibility.
Review details and expectations about the referral with patients.
Ensure that referrals are addressed in a timely manner.
Ensure the patient's chart is up to date with information on physician notes, consults, hospitalizations, ER visits, and test results.
Checks all pages in the record to verify correct patient information.
Interprets and implements policies relating to disclosure of confidential patient medical information.
Analyzes and answers correspondence requests in compliance with applicable policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements/statutes.

Experience:
