Job Description

This position is responsible for helping clients install, repair, and maintain their equipment. They are responsible for performing quality repairs and providing detailed descriptions of the work performed. A few of the main duties, of a field service technician, are inspecting and troubleshooting service equipment, instructing customers on how to use the equipment properly, building relationships with customers, and following company procedures.

Troubleshoot hydraulic equipment
Read electrical and hydraulic schematics

Work EnvironmentThis position works outside in the elements most of the time. This position also requires many hours of sitting while driving.
Physical DemandsThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands and fingers to handle, feel, or type, and reach with hands and arms. Also communicate with customers and team utilizing his or her ability to talk and/or hear. The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, and sit for long periods of time. The employee must be able to lift and/or move objects up to 55 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
Position Type and Expected Hours of WorkThis is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are typically Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. with a half hour lunch, but hours could change based on need.
Travel80% travel expected for this position.
Preferred Education and Experience2+ years' experience as a service technician
