Sun City Grand/The Grand is the premier active, age-restricted community in Arizona. We are currently seeking part-time food service workers for our golf course snack bars.

In this position, you will be providing food and refreshment services while creating a Grand experience for the residents and guests of The Grand.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Serve food and drink in designated area;
• Assure quality products coinciding with timely service;
• Maintain service and kitchen area in an orderly and clean manner;
• Operate pointofsales system and accurately count money from the shift sales;
• Keep all food items stocked on a timely basis and maintain accurate inventory of all supplies;
• Accurately complete tracking system for items sold;
• Stock beverage cart with drinks and snacks to serve the customers and players of the golf course;
• Drive cart around course to serve patrons; clean and prepare cart for next shift;
• Comply with all state, local and Sun City Grand Community Association laws/policies relating to the service of alcohol;
• Principles and processes for providing excellent customer service, including customer interaction, needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services and evaluation of customer satisfaction;
• Be aware of safety, health, and environmental concerns;
• Interact with all types of individuals, be mentally alert, detail oriented, have good reasoning skills, and exercise good judgment;
• Establish and maintain positive, effective working relationships with those contacted in the performance of work; and
• Maintain regular, reliable, and punctual attendance.
• Keep current with events and activities occurring at The Grand; and
• Perform other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

High school graduate or equivalent and customer service experience; or a combination of education, experience, and training that indicates the ability to successfully perform the essential functions of the position listed above.

Must possess, and maintain, a valid Arizona driver's license.

Preferred:
Experience as a waiter/waitress or cashier; knowledge of golf etiquette.


CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:
Must obtain, and maintain, a food handler's card & TIPS training within 30 days of hire.
