As a Kitchen Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our chefs and ensuring the smooth running of the cooking class.

• YOU MUST HAVE A CAR FOR THIS POSITION AS YOU WILL NEED TO DRIVE TO AND FROM THE STORAGE AND VENUE*
• Assist with food preparation and cooking under the supervision of the chef
• Going to the storage and getting all supplies necessary for the class
• Going to the venue and setting up for the class
• Cleaning up the venue after the class and insuring all the equipment has been returned to the storage in its proper place.
• Follow food safety guidelines and maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the venue
• Help with meal assembly, portioning, and plating
• Wash, peel, chop, and prepare ingredients as directed by the chef
• Assist in receiving and storing food deliveries
• Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and work areas

• Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment is preferred but not required
• Knowledge of basic food handling and safety practices
• Ability to work in a fastpaced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Strong communication skills and ability to work well within a team
• Basic culinary skills are a plus
