Job DescriptionAs a clerk for office management, you can work in the administrative departments of companies in all sectors of the economy and in the public sector. Your tasks consist of organizational and commercial-administrative tasks, as well as assistant and secretarial functions.
Since you can be employed in any industry, you need knowledge of business processes to familiarize yourself with the respective work area.
The daily interaction with customers, suppliers, authorities, as well as colleagues, requires you to appropriately formulate, design, and transmit internal and external correspondence. Solving these tasks requires both language skills (including foreign languages) and computer skills for the use and handling of various PC applications, such as creating presentations, and the ability to use modern communication techniques, such as fax, email, and internet.
As a clerk for office management, it is your responsibility to organize your own work effectively, as well as coordinate and monitor appointments. Other tasks include order processing, procurement, and activities in the field of public relations and event management, such as organizing and preparing meetings, business trips, and trade fairs.
In addition to statistical data processing, you are also expected to interpret this data, which means you must have the necessary background knowledge or be able to obtain it.
