Department Overview
The Electric Engineering team ensures delivery of safe and reliable electric service to customers. It is responsible for PG&E's electric distribution and transmission operations, including planning, system protection engineering, maintenance and construction, asset management, business planning, restoration, and emergency response.
Position Summary
This job is represented by Engineers and Scientists of California subject to collective bargaining. The Senior level engineer role requires mastery of the Journey level engineer skills and duties. Responsibilities include providing technical specifications for equipment, design criteria, standards, and implementation support for substation electrical transformers, and handling complex problems.
This hybrid position allows remote work and on-site presence as needed within the PG&E Service Territory.
PG&E provides a salary range in good faith for this position. Actual salary depends on factors like skills, education, experience, and more.
