Job Description:
NYC House Cleaners is currently seeking a reliable and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Warehouse Receiver.
The Warehouse Receiver will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse by accurately receiving, inspecting, and organizing incoming shipments of cleaning supplies and equipment.
Responsibilities:
Receive incoming shipments of cleaning supplies and equipment, verifying quantities and inspecting for damages or discrepancies
Record all received items in the inventory management system and ensure proper documentation
Organize and store received items in designated locations within the warehouse
Assist with inventory management, including stock rotation, restocking shelves, and conducting periodic inventory counts
Collaborate with other warehouse staff and departments to facilitate efficient workflow and timely fulfillment of orders
Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety standards and protocols
Assist with other warehouse tasks and duties as assigned by the Warehouse Manager
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent
Prior experience in warehouse operations or receiving preferred
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in performing tasks
Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with team members
Basic computer skills and familiarity with inventory management systems
Ability to lift and move heavy objects, and operate warehouse equipment as needed
