Essential Functions:
We are searching for an experienced production leader
The Production Manager is responsible for directing, coordinating, and facilitating the day-to-day production at the Culinary Center.

We are looking for an individual who is committed to producing quality products while following GMP's and safety policies while mentoring and engaging team members by cultivating and promoting a positive work environment.

The Production Manager will report to the Director of Operations.

Essential Functions:

Facilitates all production activities across both shifts to ensure they meet all quality and safety specifications and regulatory compliance.
Creates daily production schedules for scheduled products and ensures the routine fresh schedule is efficient and adhered to.
Communicates raw material needs to the Purchasing Manager in a timely manner.
Weekly metrics maintained up to date, measured by month end accuracy to the operational statement.
Focuses on efficiencies and labor, ensuring that all metrics such as labor and COGs are being tracked accurately and followed and troubleshoots as needed.
Accurate costing of labor for new items.
Maintaining labor staffing and efficiency to match sales fluctuations.
Uses the ERP system to create work orders to help manage inventory and closes out scheduled finished goods at the end of the day.
Works closely with the Director of Operations on accurate costing of items, particularly labor and verification of information and weights.
Works closely with R&D on development and execution of new items, ensuring their success in a production setting.
Develops the leads and supervisors, ensures proper back-up support and training for all key positions.
Hires, trains, promotes, and disciplines production staff as needed.
Ensures the employee schedules are accurate and that each shift is staffed appropriately.
Work with other departments to resolve any customer concerns, including providing a root cause analysis and corrective action plan to the customer.
Continuous improvement.

2 years minimum of Production Management experience in food manufacturing
Bi-lingual language including Spanish and/or Vietnamese is preferred
Experience in a USDA environment is ideal
Strong leadership, organization, customer service, and communication skills
Strong attention to detail
Ability to focus on multiple issues simultaneously
Ability to work and make decisions independently
Must be able to pass a criminal background check
