    HR Generalist

    Responsibilities:

    • HR Generalist will streamline our clients filing systems - both hard copy and soft copy files
    • Our client uses a 3rd party admin for the FMLA but HR Generalist will need to be familiar with FMLA requirements
    • HR Generalist will monitor HR mailbox and respond to questions or escalate any issues
    • HR Generalist will respond to questions related to the employee handbook
    • HR Generalist will utilize ADP Workforce Now - help with onboarding, confirming information in ADP Workforce Now is correct
    • Recruitment - Will be contact person for management. May have to speak with candidates. Will use Applicant Pro (ATS). Will handle the updates but will NOT be screening candidates. Will talk to candidates about the hiring process.
    • HR Generalist will draft offer letters
    • HR Generalist will assist with exit interviews
    • If familiar with workers comp - will take the lead on these situations
    • Ad hoc tasks & projects, as requested

    Requirements:

    • Ideally 4+ years of work experience with at least 2+ years of HR related experience but will consider candidates with 1+ years of HR experience (and ideally college coursework experience)
    • Comfortable with the hiring process
    • Degree is a plus but NOT required
    • Experience with any ATS
    • ADP Workforce Now experience is helpful but NOT required
    • MS Office Suite Experience
