How You'll Succeed- Drive the growth of CIBC's U.S.

Equity Capital Markets platform- Originate and execute equity and equity-linked financings for companies across a variety of sectors, including initial public offerings, follow-on equity issues, convertible offerings, preferred shares and private placements- Maintain deep client relationships and act as the primary ECM client point of contact- Partner closely with our leading Canadian ECM team, based in Toronto, to serve our Canadian corporate clients accessing U.S.

markets- Collaborate with colleagues across Corporate & Investment Banking and Global Markets to deliver comprehensive capital and advisory solutions

Who You Are- 10+ years of capital markets or investment banking experience including 5+ years of U.S. ECM experience- Track record of building and fostering trusted corporate client relationships, including demonstrated success both in new business development and deal execution- Deep ECM process and product expertise, including active bookrunning IPOs, convertible securities, SPACs / de-SPACs and ATMs- Achievement-oriented and entrepreneurial, while possessing a team player approach consistent with CIBCs purpose-driven culture- An extremely high level of energy, sense of urgency, creativity, and decisiveness coupled with the ability to work well under pressure- Unquestionable integrity, credibility, and character, demonstrating high moral and ethical behavior- Superb presentation skills, both oral and written- Bachelor's Degree in or above
