    Position: Senior Project Manager

    Company: Sundt Construction

    Location: Hybrid in North Phoenix / Tempe

    Duration: Full-time

    Salary Range: $120,000 - $170,000

    Interview Process: Two Rounds

    Requirements:

    • Minimum 5 years of experience in projects involving:
    • HVAC Wet
    • Instrumentation Controls
    • Waste Water
    • Electrical (230,000 volts power distribution support)
    • Strong background in Semiconductor Industry
    • Experience coordinating design/build programs and implementation of existing processes
    • Effective problem-solving skills, adapting solutions to resources available

    Preferred Qualifications:

    Bachelor's degree in Construction Project Management

    Responsibilities:

    Insight Global is seeking a Senior Project Manager to join a respected construction firm in the Semiconductor sector. The chosen candidate will take charge of leading and overseeing assigned projects efficiently, safely, and profitably within set timelines. They will ensure project work adheres to established quality and ethical standards. Additionally, the Senior Project Manager will be involved in project estimation, bidding, and contract discussions. Once projects are finalized, the primary goal is to oversee and manage the project execution from start to finish.

    Main Duties

    1. Facilitate the smooth transition of projects from estimation to the field, including thorough project review meetings covering contract requirements, schedules, budgets, and agreements.

    2. Timely completion of project closeout tasks and resolution of warranty issues to uphold positive client relationships.

    3. Coordinate with Project Superintendent on necessary resources and methods for successful project execution, monitoring resources like manpower, equipment, and materials.

    4. Develop a detailed project management plan encompassing scope, procurement, environmental, time, financial, quality, safety, and risk management plans to ensure project success.

    5. Take overall responsibility for project outcomes, including profitability, safety, schedule adherence, quality, and client satisfaction. Make critical personnel decisions impacting project progress.

    6. Manage billing processes to ensure prompt payment submissions and cash flow. Handle payment procedures in compliance with regulations.

    7. Lead in crafting comprehensive project schedules, coordinating with the Project Superintendent and Project Engineer on procurement schedules. Implement Lean principles for scheduling activities.

    8. Collaborate in estimate preparation and review to control costs effectively for equipment, labor, materials, and schedules.

    9. Engage in business development by nurturing client relationships, handling proposals, presentations, and negotiations for selected projects.

    10. Identify, prevent, and manage project claims in a timely manner to minimize impacts.

    11. Prepare accurate Monthly Progress Reports with cost projections.

    12. Manage timely execution of purchase orders and subcontracts, verifying insurance, bonds, and lien waivers.

    13. Administer prime contract terms, subcontract agreements, purchase orders, and oversee budgeting and cost control processes to ensure project completion within approved budgets.
