    We are looking for a passionate, detail-oriented Social Media Coordinator with strong copywriting/editing skills and an eye for design to manage day-to-day operations of IMDb social channels, including Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook and X.

    The ideal candidate will be comfortable in a fast-paced environment and have proven experience planning and executing content scheduling across multiple channels and interacting with large cross-functional teams.

    They will work across internal teams including Video, Editorial, Events, and PR, and will collaborate closely with Social teams including IMDb, IMDbPro and IMDb India.

    This person will have good organizational skills, be enthusiastic about staying on top of social media culture and trends, have a solid understanding and interest in entertainment, and experience managing and executing content creation.

    They will work closely with Social Marketing Managers (Including Organic, Paid, and Influencer content) to help to drive the social team's content calendar, create a steady stream of organic content that will be distributed to millions across our brand handles, leverage performance metrics to experiment, and test new content ideas, as well as provide regular performance reporting to all levels of the business.

    This is an opportunity to build and execute innovative social media campaigns to attract, engage, and delight IMDb customers across social platforms.

    Success in this role requires optimizing content ideation and creation across multiple channels, and contributing to team goals. You may recommend process improvements, and define new processes for your team to follow.

    You will be a data-driven self-starter, with a curiosity and passion to roll up your sleeves and produce an engaging, authentic experience for entertainment fans.

    The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully delivering impactful, consumer-centric social campaigns, with the ability to develop and deliver content from inception to launch, sell ideas internally, multi-task and prioritize, plus a drive for testing, learning, and making data-driven decisions.

    Key job responsibilities


    Write copy, create custom assets, and upload and tag social content on Sprinklr and/or social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook and X).


    Coordinate with social media managers on editorial and campaign programming social content needs, and campaign activity, and input into social publishing strategy.

    Monitor social channels for trending topics and news to capitalize on, as well as brand/talent posts to retweet, regram and interact with

    Flag and capture notable positive and negative fan sentiment on our social channels

    Take screenshots of talent and studio/network partner engagements with our IMDb Originals and social content

    Manage and maintain social channel customization (cover photos, featured playlists, etc.)

    Assist with manual data-pulling and reporting across social channels

    Support Instagram Story activation creation (writing, editing, design, tagging) and uploading


    Pull hi-res images (film stills, behind-the-scenes shots, red carpet talent photos, etc.) in various formats from site for engagement posts on social.

    Edit/create Social content in Canva/Adobe Suite.

    Foster social conversation to build vibrant, loyal, and active communities

    Basic Qualifications

    2+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience

    Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables)

    2+ years of progressive responsibility in social media marketing, social community management and social copy writing. Experience in social marketing operations including tools like Sprinklr or native social channel management tools.

    Preferred Qualifications

    Experience working with a major brand or entertainment company in project/production management

    Experience with content creation tools, including Adobe Suite and Canva.

    Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets.

    The base pay for this position ranges from $47,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $113,700/year in our highest geographic market.

    Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
