    Job Description and Duties

    Under the general supervision of the Administrative Lieutenant, the Office Services Supervisor II (OSS II), supervises, trains, and oversees the clerical operations of the assigned Office Assistants and Office Technician. Allocate clerical functions to ensure completion within the time limits established. Ensure clerical personnel are receiving in-service training and all training associated with the Department and/or job related duties. Spot check and review all clerical work for accuracy, completeness and composition.

    Review, evaluate, and prepare performance evaluations for clerical personnel to ensure maximum performance, which includes the Annual Performance Appraisals (CHP 118A and CHP Upon receiving the CHP 71 for non-uniformed employees and managerial staff, OSSII will verify accuracy of all information. Maintains, monitors, audits, and requests change fund (petty cash) and Cal-card as necessary. As Procurement Card (P-card) coordinator, ensures P-card statements and invoices are accurate, appropriate paperwork is attached and purchases are approved. Reconciles discrepancies as needed.

    Working Conditions

  • Must work in the office, Monday through Friday- 8:00am to 5:00 pm. Office environment, sitting at work station for a long duration of time, computer and phone usage.
