Position Overview:


Reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO), the Vice President of Finance will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing the financial strategy of the organization.

This role will oversee the finance team, including Accounting, Purchasing, and Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), providing guidance and direction to ensure efficient and effective operations.

Given the nature of our industry, experience within biomedical manufacturing is highly valued, as it enables the VP of Finance to navigate the complexities of our sector with ease and expertise.


Key Responsibilities:

Financial Strategy and Planning:Develop and execute the organization's financial strategy, collaborating with the CFO and executive leadership.

Leadership and Development:Provide leadership and guidance to the finance team, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous learning.

Financial Oversight:Oversee all financial functions, including accounting, purchasing, budgeting, reporting, and controls.

Execution Oversight:Ensure the successful execution of financial initiatives and processes across the organization, providing strategic direction and oversight.

Collaboration:Collaborate with cross-functional teams and department heads to align financial objectives with business goals and priorities.

Performance Monitoring:Monitor financial performance, analyze key metrics, and provide actionable insights to drive performance improvements.

Risk Management: Identify and mitigate financial risks, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and best practices.

Process Improvement:Drive process improvements and efficiency initiatives within the finance department, leveraging technology and best practices.


Qualifications:

Education: Master's degree in accounting or finance.

Certification: CPA credential preferred.

Experience: Extensive experience in finance leadership roles, with a proven track record of driving strategic financial initiatives and achieving results.

Expertise: Strong understanding of financial policies, controls, and best practices, with in-depth knowledge of accounting principles and regulatory requirements.

Strategic Thinking: Ability to think strategically and translate financial data into actionable insights to support organizational goals and objectives.

Leadership Skills: Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams, build consensus, and drive change.
