    Description

    The ideal candidate will be responsible for procuring, planning, coordinating, and implementing large scale vertical construction projects, as well as leading / developing other Project Managers in charge of smaller vertical construction projects in Missoula, MT and surrounding areas.

    Responsibilities

    • Lead work procurement efforts in Missoula and surrounding area - both negotiated and hard bid.
    • Prospect for new project opportunities by meeting with developers and industry professionals.
    • Lead Pre-Construction efforts.
    • Lead estimating and Value Engineering efforts.
    • Lead project staff through project phasing / planning.
    • Assist other Superintendents and Project Managers with CPM Scheduling using Microsoft Project.
    • Negotiate Prime Contract and assist with subcontracts, as needed.
    • Control project costs.
    • Review / manage project deliverables to Project Owner and Design Team.
    • Lead/participate in project meetings as appropriate.
    • Review / price Change Orders, as needed.
    • Update relevant stakeholders or team members on the project progress.
    • Coach and support project team members with tasks you assign them.
    • Lead project team members (PM's, Assistant PM's, Superintendents, Project Engineers) to desired outcomes.

    Qualifications

    • 15-20 years experience in Construction Project Management.
    • Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Construction Engineering Technology, or equivalent experience.
    • Strong construction acumen in project planning and management for large scale vertical construction projects.
    • Strong verbal, written, organizational and presentation skills.
    • Proficient with MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Project, and Procore.
