DESCRIPTION OF WORK

The role involves offering Information Technology (IT) Help Desk support for IT hardware and software, both in-person and remotely, acting as a bridge between IT and end-users during issue resolution. Additionally, responsibilities include providing follow-up to ensure customer satisfaction, managing inventory, distributing software, and monitoring network security for personal computers within the DMVA enterprise network, covering various locations including Fort Indiantown Gap and veterans' homes.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

Full-time employment.
Work hours are 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with 30-minute lunch.
Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time 5 days per pay period. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Annville.
Salary:In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

One year as an Information Technology Trainee or Information Technology Technician; or
Three years of information technology experience in applications development or applications maintenance, networking or desktop services, web site development or web site design, or other information technology support/administration services; or
One year of information technology experience in applications development or applications maintenance, networking or desktop services, web site development or web site design, or other information technology support/administration services, and an associate's degree in any information technology field; or
An equivalent combination of experience and training.

You must possess a valid federal or state-issued photo ID and pass a favorable NCIC screening for admittance to Fort Indiantown Gap.
You must be able to perform essential job functions.

Legal Requirements:

This position falls under the provisions of the Older Adult Protective Services Act.
- Under the Act, a conditional offer of employment will require submission and approval of satisfactory criminal history reports, including but not limited to, PA State Police and FBI clearance.
