    We are seeking a Controller to service our clients in the Southeast Florida market. Our ideal candidate is customer-centric, has a strong business acumen, and has experience working with a wide array of industry verticals that can range from professional services, distribution, technology, etc...

    Responsibilities

    • Manage all accounting operations, including oversight of financial statements.
    • Coordinate and direct the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts, and report variances.
    • Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements.
    • Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting.
    • Research technical accounting issues for compliance.
    • Support month-end and year-end close processes.
    • Manage cash and funding balances.
    • Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting.
    • Manage and comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings.
    • Manage accounting teams.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance, Graduate degree preferred.
    • CPA or CIA designation
    • 10 years+ of overall accounting experience.
    • 4 years+ of experience as a hands-on Controller including companies from start-up to $300 million in annual revenue.
    • Strong knowledge of GAAP.
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Strong process improvement skills.
    • Superior leadership skills.
    • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
    • Strong written and verbal skills.
    • Advanced MS Excel skills.
    • Experience working in ERP systems.
