- Work with a multidisciplinary treatment team to provide crisis intervention and other mental health services as needed in client homes, and in the community.
- Provide counseling, crisis intervention, stabilization, and case management services to ensure the successful transition of clients and their families to community-based resources.
- Provide on-call coverage to the clients as needed.
- Provide services across the entirety of Ventura County
- Participate in all treatment reviews, program staff meetings, and IEP meetings as necessary.
- Participate in staff team meetings, weekly trainings, individual and group supervisions, and adhere to clinical best practices.
- Complete progress notes and other paperwork, and complete service tracking documentation as indicated.
- Participate in weekly supervision with the program supervisor or designee.
- Maintain accurate documentation and paperwork including but not limited to time sheets, petty cash, and mileage.
- Maintain professional behavior at all times, appropriately representing Senecas mission and philosophy.
- All other duties assigned by supervisor or other Seneca Management.
- Utilize a culturally respectful and responsive lens in providing all services for clients
- Carries out functions and responsibilities as it pertains to giving orders and conducting evaluations of clients in restraint/seclusion as per Seneca Center Crisis Intervention Policy Section 8.
- Masters degree in psychology, counseling, or social work required.
- Eligible to register with the BBS.
- Bilingual (English and Spanish).
- Strong communication skills and flexibility.
- Flexible schedule with the ability to work evenings and weekends as needed.
- Ability to work as a team player.
- Ability to work with diverse population.
- Valid CA drivers license and insurable under Seneca Family of Agencies insurance policy.
- Clearance of TB test, fingerprints, and any other mandatory State/Federal licensing or certification requirements.
- Proof of COVID-19 vaccination required.
- Experience implementing family-focused mobile response services.
- Experience working with children/youth and families with complex and enduring needs.

- Staring at $72,560 to $86,560 per year. Actual salary dependent on creditable experience above the minimum qualifications.

Do you have a passion for supporting youths mental health? So do we, join our Ventura Mobile Response Team as a Crisis Clinician
The Bilingual Crisis Clinician provides in-person and phone crisis counseling, stabilization, crisis intervention, and case management services to children and families. As the Bilingual Crisis Clinician,you will work with youth and caregivers to develop a safety plan to limit current and future crises, collaborate with any existing treatment team members, and link youth to further mental health services as needed. Crisis Clinicians are members of a treatment team and provide services via phone and in the community.
ABOUT MRT
Mobile Response Team (MRT) is a short-term program comprised of a team of clinicians and counselors who can support youth in crisis when there are concerns for immediate safety. MRT supports youth and families by completing a comprehensive risk assessment to determine level of risk, needs of the youth and to explore strengths of the client, family, and community supports. MRT works to facilitate the creation of a safety plan to support youth and their caregivers to minimize the instances and severity of future crises. MRT supports youth with linkage and advocacy in order to connect them and their families to long term services if needed.
