The German Railway is not only one of the most important mobility service providers, but also one of the largest engineering firms in Germany.

Currently, we have about engineers working for us - but it's not enough.

A particular challenge is increasingly coordinating our demanding construction projects with the needs of our customers for disruption-free construction and reliable punctual railway traffic.

We are currently looking for a Civil Engineer to join a team of approximately 80 Project Engineers (m/f/d) at DB Netz AG in Berlin and Schwerin, to support the preparation of construction projects with high technical expertise and motivation, and to contribute to ensuring that construction projects are carried out smoothly and in the best interest of our customers.

Your tasks:

You will develop construction operational concepts for the realization of your assigned projects.
You will review and compare construction phase concepts, plans, sketches, as well as commissioning concepts and construction schedules for their impact on the projects.
Ensuring timely and costoptimized project realization through active management of construction phase planning in all process phases is also part of your responsibilities.
Through thorough risk management, you will address potential scenarios already in the planning phase, especially from the perspective of construction phase planning and implementation.
You will be responsible for coordinating all parties involved in the process flow.

Your profile:

You have successfully completed your degree in Civil or Transportation Engineering, or have a comparable qualification, ideally with subsequent training as a Railway Construction Supervisor.
