Description
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES shall include but not limited to:
- Acquire academic contents in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering & Mathematics) and Social Sciences.
- Responsible for full editorial process from commissioning, manuscript submission to publication.
- Develop new areas that complement Company's existing focus areas.
- Maintain positive collaborative relationship with all stakeholders including existing/potential authors, reviewers, contributors, key advisers, potential textbook adopters, and colleagues in various divisions.
- Monitoring market demand, advising future trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Participate in the marketing and promotional activities as required.
- Where appropriate, represent World Scientific Publishing at external conferences and events.
- Any ad hoc projects when necessary and assigned.
REQUIREMENT
- PhD or University degrees.
- Prior experience in STEM publishing.
- Independent and creative thinker; Energetic and proactive;
- Excellent organizational skills and detailoriented.
- Must be able to take on new responsibilities with ease.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously amid tight deadlines.
- Effective communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills at all levels.
- Proven ability to work independently as well as a team.
- Willingness to travel within US.
Pay:
$50, $60,000.00 per year

- Monday to Friday
