Up to $90K

Target Bonus: 10%

Location:
Chicago, IL area (just south of O'Hare Airport)

Job DescriptionBuyer

  • Purchasing/Supply Chain experience with a MRP system in a manufacturing environment
  • Strong ERP knowledge and background in supplier management and negotiations
  • Manage multiple jobs and competing requirements
  • Receive and reviews requisitions requesting goods or services
  • Communicate with vendors to obtain product or service information
  • Determine method of procurement, such as direct purchase or bid
  • Prepares purchase orders or bid requests
  • Review bid proposals and negotiates contracts within budgetary limitations and scope of authority
