At Serve Robotics, we are reimagining how things move in cities. Our personable sidewalk delivery robot, Serve, is our vision for the future of delivery. It's designed to take deliveries away from congested streets and onto underutilized alleys and sidewalks. Serve reduces emissions, relieves traffic, and makes deliveries both faster and cheaper. What you'll be doing
As an Operations Runner at Serve Robotics you will be the primary operator in supporting commercial robot deliveries.

Your main objective will be to execute deliveries and help the organization drive process improvements that allow operations to scale.

You will be the main point of contact between merchants and retail staff and Serve at merchant locations, helping ensure that robots are loaded with delivery contents in a timely manner.

Responsibilities

Picking up orders from merchants and loading into delivery robot
Collaborate with merchants and retail staff to ensure robots are loaded with delivery contents
Support robots in the field and act as the point of contact for issues that might occur, including professional interactions with merchant staff, restaurant customers, and other members of the public
Uphold efforts to maintain appearance and cleanliness of robots
Contribute to maintaining a clear and safe workplace that facilitates frictionless operations
Contribute to the development of processes and routines necessary to operate robots safely
Assist development and quality assurance efforts to improve the product
Provide feedback on product, tools, or features to the development team for iteration
Provide additional ad hoc operational support to the team as necessary

Requirements:

13+ years of experience in operations/logistics, or similar field
Superior organization, collaboration and problemsolving skills
Ability to keep calm under pressure with a cando attitude to meeting challenges
Ability to work autonomously with little need for supervision
Capable of spending multiple hours on your feet and walking several miles per day, including being outside in various weather conditions
Working hours that may occur in the early morning and late evening
Working hours that may occur on weekdays or weekends
Comfortable riding bicycle in city environment
Ability to lift 70 lb

Salary Range:
$18-19/Hour, full-time position

Position is a 3 month contract with potential to become employee hire
