Description
You:
- will be responsible for the qualification and analysis of non-metallic materials using environmental simulation methods and complex investigations within the TWA (Technology Material and Process Analysis) network at Kean University
- will handle order acceptance, sample collection and preparation, analysis, interpretation of results, derivation of recommendations, and preparation of investigation reports
- will independently coordinate and advise internal and external process partners
- will support the global TWA network with your expertise
- will be responsible for writing quality and safety-related documents such as work and operating instructions, as well as continuously improving existing analysis processes and introducing innovations
- will plan and coordinate the commissioning of equipment as part of investment projects, taking into account requirements, occupational safety, and environmental protection
You:
- have a Master's degree in Material Science, Textile Engineering, or a comparable qualification
- have knowledge of non-metallic materials (technical plastics, elastomers, foams, etc.) and their processing
- have relevant knowledge of material testing methods and their application (especially environmental simulation, surface testing, mechanical testing)
- are proficient in MS Office applications
- demonstrate a high level of teamwork, sociability, and openness
