Description

The OTTO DÖRNER Group is a modern and efficient family-owned company in its third generation, with over 1200 employees active in the areas of waste disposal, gravel, sand and landfills, as well as recycling trade in northern Germany.

We are currently seeking a

*Senior Accountant (m/f/d)

for our headquarters at the OTTO DÖRNER Group, starting as soon as possible.

*Your responsibilities will include

Managing day-to-day accounting tasks, including accounts receivable and payable and collections
Processing payments
Preparing monthly and annual financial statements (in accordance with HGB)
Preparing summary reports and VAT returns
Assisting in the supervision of apprentices

*Your qualifications

Completed commercial training with further education as a senior accountant (m/f/d)
Several years of relevant work experience in financial accounting
Excellent knowledge of German commercial and tax law
IT affinity and proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics
Very thorough, reliable and conscientious work ethic, self-initiative and ability to manage tasks independently
Good communication and social skills
