    Job Description

    The Executive Director of Physician/Clinic Operations is the key leader for the Medical Practice Division of DCH. They work collaboratively with the CEO to provide leadership and accountability in clinical performance, patient satisfaction, strategic planning and fiscal operations.

    Duties/Responsibilities Include:

  • Fiscal responsibility of medical practice division.
  • Performance Improvement.
  • Support of staff for effectiveness, staff training and educational needs, staff orientation, staff competency.
  • Oversees the monitoring, measurement and quality improvement of clinical areas.
  • Collaborates, develops, and leads the implementation of operational plans.
  • Develops and implements strategic goals related to the quality improvement and management programs.
  • Works in dyad with all providers with shared responsibility for division strategic planning, oversight, decision making and change management.
  • Assist in clinical program development to further the organization's mission and monitor performance.
  • Promote shared leadership in regard to clinical issues, goals and strategy, and drive optimal models of physician collaboration and clinical integration.
  • Drive utilization management to ensure effective use of organization resources and reduce cost of delivery of care.
  • Represent DCH with external stakeholders and build collaborative external relationships.
  • Support and champion the use of improved healthcare information technology and medical technologies to achieve optimal quality, efficiency, safety, data sharing and patient care.
  • Assist with facilitating communication and networking among clinical leaders and medical staff across DCH.
  • Have a collaborative approach with each stakeholder.
  • Attend routine management meetings.
  • Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years experience in Medical Practice Management
  • Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid & Third-Party Payors
  • Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare-related field OR Business
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Basic computer knowledge
  • Leadership abilities
  • Ability to communicate in English, both verbally and in writing
  • Demonstrates interpersonal relationships in a manner which enhances communication, promotes conflict resolution & facilities staff development
