Position Overview:
As an Independent Contractor Courier Driver with ELE Dynasty Logistics, you will be responsible for delivering packages and parcels to our clients promptly and safely using your own vehicle and insurance.
Responsibilities:
- Safely and efficiently deliver packages and parcels to designated locations within assigned timeframes.
- Plan optimal delivery routes to maximize efficiency and ensure timely deliveries.
- Utilize GPS and navigation tools to navigate routes effectively.
- Provide excellent customer service by ensuring packages are delivered accurately and with a positive attitude.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status and any issues that may arise.
- Adhere to all traffic and safety regulations while operating a motor vehicle.
Compensation:
- Compensation for Independent Contractor Courier Drivers ranges from $0.98 to $1.30 per stop, based on experience and performance.
- Additional incentives may be available based on performance metrics.
Requirements:
- Own a reliable vehicle (car, van, or motorcycle) with valid registration and insurance coverage.
- Possess a valid driver's license and maintain a clean driving record.
- Prior experience in courier, delivery, or related fields is preferred.
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Flexibility to work varying hours, including evenings and weekends.
- Willingness to undergo a background check if required.
