- PhD or PsyD in clinical or counseling psychology from an APA-accredited program with an APA-accredited or APPIC-approved internship.
- Pennsylvania license for the practice of psychology or eligibility for licensure within the state of Pennsylvania.
- Scholarship and/or clinical interests in supporting the wellbeing of health care professionals.
- One year of post-doctoral training.
- Research, teaching and/or clinical experiences that contribute to diversity, equity and inclusion, to include interests in Rural Health Equity.

The Department of Psychology at Indiana University of Pennsylvania (IUP) invites applications for a full-time tenure-track faculty position in Clinical Psychology/Behavioral Health, with applications accepted until the position is filled.
This position serves both the IUP Psychology Department and Indiana Regional Medical Center (IRMC)Family Medicine Residency Program and represents a new and exciting collaboration between these institutions.
The successful applicant will have the opportunity to help shape this 12-month position into one that allows a mix of clinical teaching and supervision in bothclinical and university settings, with 50-75% of time spent at IRMC and 25-50% of time spent at IUP.
This position involves the supervision and training of residents at IRMC as well as teaching within IUP's Clinical PsyD program.
The chosen candidate will have the opportunity to design many aspects of the administration of behavioral health components of the Family Medical Residency Program at IRMC, as well as to facilitate collaboration between IUP and IRMC, including research and grantsmanship.
IUP and IRMC are situated in a rural community east of Pittsburgh, PA and their commitment to community health is exemplified through IRMC's new Adolescent, Adult, and Geriatric Psychiatric Hospital ), as well as IUP'sproposed College of Osteopathic Medicine.The IUP Psychology Department of 17 full-time tenured/tenure-track faculty offers a PsyD program in clinical psychology that has been accredited by the American Psychological Association (APA) since 1987.
The Clinical PsyD program incorporates elements of clinical and health psychology, based on a local clinical scientist model that encourages the application of scientific knowledge to the local clinical setting.
The program follows a practitioner model of training with a strong commitment to science-based education and accepts 10 to 15 graduate students each year.
The program has a strong record of quality based on measures of excellence such as Examination for Professional Practice in Psychology pass rates and internship placement rates.
The IRMC Rural Family Medicine Residency Program, which matriculated its first class in 2022, is a vital and growing program with a primary mission of recruiting, educating, and retaining family physicians for rural Pennsylvania.
Imbedded within the Family Medicine Residency Program, the goal of this position is the training of Psychology students and Family Medicine Resident Physicians inter-professionally within the Integrated Care model of Primary Care Behavioral Health, both outpatient and throughout the medical center.
