Overview:

Job Summary:
Oversees all bar functions within the entertainment center, ensuring exceptional guest satisfaction and maximizing profitability. This role will be responsible for coordinating all activities related to beverage service, banquet services, and catering services. Provides hands-on leadership to bartenders, maintains operational standards, and manages budgets effectively. This role is a key position in the Center's beverage operation.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Maximizes revenue and profits for all beverage outlets.
  • Establish, review, and manage beverage inventory and cost of goods.
  • Responsible for quality control and ordering/receiving supplies.
  • Ensures excellent customer service for every guest.
  • Maintains cleanliness and organization in all areas, ensuring effective operations.
  • Manages beverage prep and beverage service, as well as maintains operational standards.
  • Coordinates beverage preparation and service for all outlets, including banquets and events.
  • Ensures all promotions are implemented at the highest quality, and are priced accordingly
  • Adheres to Public Health Department Regulations and required training sessions for bar sanitation and liquor laws.
  • Maintains a safe work environment and provides a safe environment for customers.
  • Oversees daily routines to ensure quality and service meet standards by maintaining visibility during highvolume periods and events.
  • Handles hiring, training, development, and discipline for all bar staff.
  • Conducts regular staff and bar meetings with set agendas and goals, updates employees on F&B events and parties, and communicates information on all center activities.
  • Conducts quarterly reviews for bar staff
  • Ensures that the uniform policy is being followed.
  • Optimizes labor utilization by creating schedules and monitoring productivity.

Qualifications:

The Bar Manager should possess:

  • Highly developed customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • High integrity, respect for individuals, and strong communication abilities.
  • Strong critical thinking and analytical skills.
  • Appreciation for diversity (of thought, ethnic background, gender, orientation, etc.)

Education and Experience:


  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required; a degree in food and beverage management is preferred but not required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in highvolume F&B environments, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role.
  • Have knowledge of state liquor laws and/or have a state Alcohol Awareness certificate.
  • Strong budgetary, projection, and cost control skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities.

Note:
This position may require working varying shifts, weekends, holidays, late nights, and extended hours to support business needs. Other duties may be assigned.

The approximate pay range for this position is $70,000 - $80,000 / year.

Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting.

Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, knowledge, skills, and abilities as well as geographic location of the position.
