Degree: Educator with a focus on youth and residential care, state-recognized

Duration: 3 years: 2 years of full-time academic training + 1 year of practical training / integrated practice

Start: annually in October

Location: F+U Education Campus Heidelberg, directly across from Heidelberg Central Station

> Training Content and Structure:

Full-time training at the technical school (2 years) with integrated practical phases, e.g.

  • Systemic counseling and client-centered communication
  • Violence prevention and the concept of new authority

concluding 1-year, paid internship
