Description

Duties:


THIS POSITION CAN BE MADE PERMANENT WITHOUT FURTHER COMPETITION.

  • Supervises the work of the Administrative Services Office (ASO) staff.
  • Assist in the development of personnel policies and practices.
  • Makes recommendations for personnel matters and recommends training for ASO staff.
  • Works with office supervisors to coordinate ASO tasks.
  • Assists in the planning and analysis of space utilization and requirements.
  • Maintains liaison with GSA and other agencies on matters of mutual interest.
  • Serves as the agency COOP coordinator.
  • Serves as the emergency occupant coordinator.
  • Establishes and maintains internal budget system for the control of funds allocated to the office.
  • Coordinates equipment replacement and modifications.
  • Coordinates with the office of acquisitions on equipment and product demonstrations to best serve user needs and comply with the FAR.
  • Serves as point of contact for dealings with commercial representatives for purchase of equipment and products.

Qualifications:


  • To qualify for this position, your resume must state sufficient experience and/or education, to perform the duties of the specific position for which you are applying.
1 year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-12 level or equivalent experience.

  • Specialized experience is experience which is directly related to the line of work of the position to be filled and which has equipped the applicant with the knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position, for example: Experience planning or managing the operations, maintenance, repair, or improvements of facilities.
Experience must be in at least three of the following areas:

leasing; office space planning/design; construction; building support services (mail, copier/print services, janitorial services, or equipment maintenance); budgeting/financial analysis; planning or monitoring contractors' technical performance; security; or health and safety programs.

Selective Placement Factor (SPF)In addition to the specialized experience applicants must possess the following selective placement factor:Possession of a Safety Management Certificate or have completed related course work Safety Management Level 1, Safety Management Level 2, and or Corporate Safety Management.
