    Job Title:& Back-end Java Developer (5-8 yrs)Location:& Hybrid, 3 days a week (M/W/Th)- Phoenix market preferred (Open to Dallas, TX area as well)Manager notes:·& & & & & & & & Heavy API and microservices experience·& & & & & & & & End points, gits, and inputs experience·& & & & & & & & J unit experience (writing internal testing)·& & & & & & & & Large focus on backend development, a little bit of front end·& & & & & & & & Familiar with SQL/MongoDB/Oracle·& & & & & & & & Strong work ethic and character. Must be willing to be a team player and not afraid to ask questions Prefers someone with the right attitude over technical experience.Job Description:Creates user information solutions by developing, implementing and maintaining Java based components and interfaces.& Write well designed, testable, efficient code and ensure designs are in compliance with specifications.& Will prepare and produce releases of software components.& Will support continuous improvements by investigating alternatives and technologies and presenting these for architectural review.& Supports users by developing documentation and assistance tools.& Completes applications development by coordinating requirements, schedules and activities; contributing to team meetings; troubleshooting development and production problems across multiple environments and operating platforms.& Must have extensive hands on experience in designing and developing applications using Java EE platforms along with Angular 8.& Object Oriented analysis and design using common design patterns is a must.& Proven leadership in developing web applications using at least one popular web framework (JSF, Wicket, GWT, Springboot).& Experience with test-driven development or behavior driven development a bonus.Essential Functions:·& & & & & & & & Lead and coach a scrum team in Front End Development activities using Angular, Java, and Springboot·& & & & & & & & Ensure standards are met with respect to code quality, unit test cases, and best coding practices for all code implementations·& & & & & & & & Follow all guidelines for best development practices and ensure full team is also following·& & & & & & & & Perform code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members·& & & & & & & & Work on Proof of Concept projects to help create reusable patterns for development.·& & & & & & & & Participate in all agile ceremonies and appropriately lead technology solutioningBasic Qualifications:
    • 8+ years of work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD, or PhD) in the Computer Science field
    • 4+ years experience designing and developing with front end technologies (Angular or React)
    Preferred Qualifications:
    • Experience coaching junior and staff level developers
    • Extensive experience in the full SDLC including delivery
    • 3-5 years experience with Atlassian tool suites BitBucket, Bamboo, JIRA, Confluence
    • Experience using IDE and GIT repositories for code management
    • Understanding of waterfall, Agile and Scaled Agile (SAFe) methodologies
    • Strong analytical, communication and problem resolution skillS
