Looking for two groundmen for our tree business. 1 to 2 years of experience in the tree removal industry would be preferred. If new to the industry, expect to work up the payroll and to learn a lot quickly. There is a lot to learn in addition to tree, equipment and safety.

If commonly reminded of previously-taught items, especially safety related, we will be forced to replace you (sorry to sound harsh, but it is one of the most dangerous industries and we have delt with unaware workers in the past).

Must have a valid driver's license and have or be healthy enough to pass a physical for a DOT card.

Must be able to drive a truck and back in trailers. Must have the ability to lift 50+ pounds multiple times a day. Must be punctual, dependable, have situational awareness and have a positive attitude. Must demonstrate respect for company equipment and customers' properties. Pay range starts depending on your incoming skill set and will increase with experience. We offer paid vacation and sick days after three months of employment. I have expensive new machines, so looking for someone with equipment and driving skills.

Job Duties

• Driving NON-CDL trucks with trailers
• Preparing equipment (fuels / grease)
• Dragging, lifting and / or using equipment to move brush and wood.
• Using rigging
• Chipping
• Chainsawing (on the ground)
• Raking / blowing / cleanup
• Depending on your experience, possible chainsawing / rigging / roping using our 60ft aerial lift.
• Expect 8hour shifts Monday
• Friday, with possible seasonal time off in the winter.
