    Descripción general:

    Como electricista, tu responsabilidad principal es instalar, mantener y reparar sistemas eléctricos en diversos entornos, incluyendo residencial, comercial e industrial. Tu experiencia garantiza el funcionamiento seguro y eficiente de la infraestructura eléctrica, contribuyendo a la funcionalidad de edificios y equipos.

    Funciones:


    • Instalación: Serás responsable de instalar cableado eléctrico, accesorios y equipos de acuerdo con los códigos relevantes y los planos. Esto incluye enrutamiento de cables, montaje de tomacorrientes e interruptores, y conexión de componentes eléctricos a fuentes de alimentación.


    • Mantenimiento: El mantenimiento regular de los sistemas eléctricos es esencial para prevenir fallas y garantizar la seguridad. Realizarás inspecciones, pruebas y tareas de mantenimiento rutinario para identificar y abordar problemas como conexiones sueltas, componentes desgastados y peligros eléctricos.


    • Reparación: En caso de fallas o mal funcionamiento eléctrico, diagnosticarás el problema e implementarás soluciones de reparación apropiadas. Esto puede implicar reemplazar componentes defectuosos, reparar cableado dañado y solucionar problemas en circuitos eléctricos para restaurar la funcionalidad.


    • Cumplimiento: La adherencia a los códigos eléctricos, regulaciones y normas de seguridad es fundamental en este rol. Garantizarás que todo el trabajo eléctrico cumpla con los requisitos reglamentarios y siga las mejores prácticas de seguridad y calidad.


    • Colaboración: Los electricistas a menudo trabajan en estrecha colaboración con otros profesionales de la construcción, incluidos arquitectos, ingenieros y contratistas. La comunicación y colaboración efectivas son esenciales para coordinar instalaciones eléctricas con proyectos de construcción en general.


    • Documentación: Llevar registros precisos es necesario para documentar el trabajo realizado, incluidos diagramas de instalación, registros de mantenimiento e informes de reparación. Esta documentación ayuda a rastrear la historia de los sistemas eléctricos y facilita el mantenimiento y solución de problemas futuros.


    • Servicio al cliente: Proporcionar un excelente servicio al cliente es importante, especialmente en entornos residenciales y comerciales. Puedes interactuar con clientes para entender sus necesidades eléctricas, explicar procedimientos de trabajo y abordar cualquier inquietud o pregunta que puedan tener.


    • Completar otras tareas a discreción de la gerencia.

    Requisitos:


    • Finalización de un programa de aprendizaje o capacitación vocacional en trabajo eléctrico.


    • Certificación de Electricista Maestro o Jornalero, dependiendo de la jurisdicción.


    • Amplio conocimiento de sistemas eléctricos, componentes y métodos de cableado.


    • Familiaridad con códigos y regulaciones relevantes, como el Código Eléctrico Nacional (NEC).


    • Proficiencia en la lectura de planos, esquemas y diagramas técnicos.


    • Atención al detalle, habilidades para resolver problemas y destreza manual.


    • Resistencia física y capacidad para trabajar en diversos entornos, incluidos espacios confinados y alturas.


    • Excelentes habilidades de comunicación e interpersonales.


    • Debe poder levantar hasta 50 libras en posición elevada.


    • Debe poder empujar y jalar hasta 50 libras.


    • Debe tener el equilibrio y destreza para moverse alrededor de un sitio de construcción y disfrutar trabajar al aire libre en todas las condiciones climáticas.


    • Debe estar libre de drogas y alcohol.


    • Capacidad para estar de pie, doblarse, torcerse y subir escaleras durante todo el turno completo.
