The German Railway is one of the most diverse employers in Germany.

Every year, we are looking for over 5,000 apprentices in 50 different professions who want to become even better with us.

We are currently seeking applicants for a 3-year apprenticeship as a specialist in vehicle operations (m/f/d) for DB Regio Bus Mitte GmbH at our location in Mainz, starting on September 1st, 2024.

During your apprenticeship, you will:

Learn how to drive buses and obtain a Class D driver's license
Gain knowledge about the technical aspects of different bus models
Learn how to maintain and troubleshoot buses
Provide customer service regarding transportation connections and fares
Participate in advertising campaigns
Familiarize yourself with planning and managing vehicle and personnel schedules

As a trained specialist in vehicle operations, you will primarily work in the control center and be responsible for scheduling personnel and vehicles.

Your profile:

You have successfully completed (or will soon complete) your education and are at least 17 years old
You have a passion for technology
You can remain calm and organized in difficult situations
You prioritize service and safety
You are flexible and reliable
Having a Class B driver's license is an advantage
