We offer highly refined products, warm & high quality service & experience to our Employees and Customers. Both Front & Back of the House teams "do care" and pay attention to every details.

With our highly skilled pastry team, we produce most beautiful, delicate and unique French pastries or entremets, large cakes and events large cakes or smaller pieces.

We also offer to our Customers a French savory menu.

We believe that MAISON ALYZEE provides a unique experience for our Customers & team members.

We're elevating the food industry by thinking from the heart-side out, owning our impact on our local communities and inventing new recipes or cakes to take quality, purity, taste, and joy for our team and customers to the next level.

We have a unique talented team in a highly professional but friendly atmosphere. We are creators, pastry chefs, perfectionists, and French Fine Pastries connoisseurs. We believe in building a team & products portfolio which will evolve through the year and seasons.

We're creating, producing and sharing our Cakes, Entremets, Viennoiseries and Breads, using the freshest, purest ingredients from France, Italy or California mostly.


We are looking for our new Boutique on Burlingame avenue - Burlingame - "Front of the House Associate(s) " (role cashier, barista, customer service,...)




Key responsibilities:
Customer Service : provide the best customer service in a courteous, fast and efficient manner. Accommodate all requests and special needs for guests and clients. Know how to engage with customers efficiently and act as the ambassador of Maison Alyzee. Provide all our customers with a unique experience visiting our Boutique.

Take & Prepare orders:
a large variety of individual cakes, viennoiseries (croissants,...), breads and savory menu items and larger desserts/cakes. To Go & On Site. Prepare DoorDash or other vendors orders in an accurate manner.

Prepare all pre orders:
prior to opening, ensure pastries and desserts are ready or prepared, and pack in advance for with quality and accuracy in mind

Drinks:
Full coffee menus, teas, our famous hot chocolates,..

Leadership:

Take initiatives, Keep all your senses active and maintain constant impeccable cleanness inside and on our patio & terrace.


Collaborate :
Enjoy the camaraderie and teamwork and take advantage of opportunities to broaden your scope of work: From the terrace to the back of the house: Help or lead inventory management or take ownership

Safety :
Maintain a clean and organized workspace. Follow all safety and sanitation procedures within set guidelines from OSHA, HACCP and Department of Public Health and Risk Management - and ensure your team is following guidelines as well
Other duties as assigned


Knowledge and Skills:


Experience with from retail food retail, coffee shop is a plus but not mandatory; Reliability, common sense, friendly & positive attitude, savory cooking skills is a strong plus.

Basic problem-solving skills and ability to multi-task
Sense of urgency and ability to work within a safe manner

Ability to follow all company policies in areas of attendance, safety, sanitation and safe food handling. The Front of the House team will also remains in close daily contact with our Pastry Chefs' team.

Job Requirements

  • Ability to attend a high end bakery customers,
  • Ability to work on weekends and holidays
  • Ability to exert wellpaced mobility for up to 8 hours, including standing & walking
