Job Overview:

Expanding custom foot orthotics lab and biomechanics clinic in need of a motivated/ caring individual to join our team


Position details
Take in patients for follow up appointments.

Assist patients with required paperwork.

Take patient history and feedback regarding custom foot orthotics

Coordinate with lab technicians regarding adjustments and custom foot casting.

Schedule future appointments

Perform patient intake and follow up via phone/ text.

Verify insurance and reimbursement


Job requirements
Medical assistant certification required

Bachelors or associates degree preferred.

Experience in podiatry, orthotics, physical therapy or orthopedics preferred.

Great learning and growth potential.

Will train on site with potential for becoming a certified pedorthist/ orthotist.

Strong interpersonal and problem solving skills a must.


Pay:
$ $23.00 per hour

Experience:

• EMR systems: 1 year (preferred)
• Vital signs: 1 year (preferred)

License/Certification:

• BLS Certification (preferred)
• Certified Medical Assistant (preferred)

Ability to Commute:

• Albany, NY required)

Ability to Relocate:

• Albany, NY 12205: Relocate before starting work (required)
