How you'll make an impact:


  • Develop and plan the implementation of indepth reviews, similar to management consulting engagements, of key business issues
  • Play an instrumental role in the design and execution of the annual strategic planning process with broadbased advanced knowledge within the organization
  • Develop targeted Operations initiatives within Strategy or in partnership with particular Business Units (BUs)
  • Lead the design and delivery of key strategic initiatives identified by the Executive Leadership Team and provide recommendations for decisionmaking that affect subfunction, area(s), and/or team(s)
  • Partner with CVP and LT on strategic communications and management processes
  • Develop presentations and tools to facilitate communication of findings and recommendations to internal and external audiences
  • Other incidental duties

What you'll need (required):

Bachelor's Degree in in a scientific, technical, quantitative or Finance (FP&A) field, 12 years years experience of direct experience in strategy Required or
Master's Degree or equivalent in in a scientific, technical, quantitative or Finance (FP&A) field, 10 years years experience of direct experience in strategy Required and
At least 7 years of direct experience in strategy, management consulting, business development, or marketing and sales required Required and


What else we look for (preferred):

  • Experience working in a regulated industry preferred
  • Proven successful project management skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and related tools and systems
  • Excellent problemsolving, organizational, analytical and critical thinking skills including high discretion/judgment in decision making
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal relationship skills including negotiating and relationship management skills with ability to drive achievement of objectives
  • Recognized as an expert in own subfunction(s) and/or area(s) within the organization with broadbased advanced knowledge within the organization
  • Expert understanding and interpretation of complicated market dynamics with the ability to identify and quantify market potential, and build business case with both business and financial analysis skills
  • Expert understanding of related aspects of processes and/or systems
  • Ability to develop and integrate metrics into the projects and operations that clearly demonstrate value to the business
  • Ability to listen to stakeholders, discover unmet needs, develop strong rapport with audience, and be customerfocused.
  • Strict attention to detail
  • Ability to interact professionally with all organizational levels and proactively escalate issues to appropriate levels of management in the organization
  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast paced environment
  • Ability to identify opportunities for change and lead improvement initiatives
  • Ability to represent leadership on projects within multiple areas, interfacing with project managers, crossfunctional teams and middle management
  • Ability to consult in project setting within multiple areas, interfacing with low to middle management
  • Adhere to all company rules and requirements (e.g., pandemic protocols, Environmental Health & Safety rules) and take adequate control measures in preventing injuries to themselves and others as well as to the protection of environment and prevention of pollution under their span of influence/control

For California, the base pay range for this position is $166,000 to $235,000 (highly experienced).
