    Outside Sales Representative – Birmingham

    Join our dynamic and fast-growing team revolutionizing I.T. by empowering small and mid-sized business growth At Evolv I.T., we are searching for a passionate, go-getter Sales Representative to dominate the Birmingham market. This person will play a crucial role in driving our sales efforts and contributing to the success of our innovative solutions. This full-time role is on-site in the downtown Birmingham office in the theatre district. While this job will require much time outside the office, this person will have limited travel outside the greater Birmingham area. The sales representative will work diligently to generate leads, prioritize and interview prospects, and be responsible for building relationships with customers, closing sales, and achieving sales targets.

    Job Responsibilities:

    Prospecting and Lead Generation:

    1. Identify and target potential customers through research, networking, and outreach.
    2. Generate and qualify leads to build a robust sales pipeline.

    Customer Engagement:

    1. Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to showcase the unique value proposition of our offerings.
    2. Build strong relationships with potential and existing clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.

    Sales Negotiation:

    1. Collaborate with prospects to understand their pain points and present our products as effective solutions.
    2. Negotiate terms and close deals to meet and exceed sales targets.

    Market Research:

    1. Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics.
    2. Provide feedback to the team on market demands and customer preferences.

    Collaboration with Team:

    1. Work closely with the marketing and product teams to align sales strategies with company objectives.
    2. Share insights and collaborate with team members to continuously improve our sales processes.

    Qualifications:

    • Prior experience in sales, preferably in the technology industry
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively
    • Effective time management and organizational skills
    • Proven track record of achieving sales targets
    • Proficiency in customer relationship management (CRM) software and Microsoft Office Suite – experience in Hubspot is a plus
    • Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
    • Experience working with a diverse range of customers
    • Bachelor's degree in business or a related field or equivalent experience
