WWC Global in search for a Financial Technician with a beginner's level for Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command Mid Atlantic (NAVFAC MIDLANT), Norfolk, VA.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Review funding documents for accuracy and compliance.
  • Analyze financial data from records and systems.
  • Research material and contract charges, update files, and correct accounting errors.
  • Review invoices, statements, and reconcile accounting systems.

Work Environment:

  • Moderate noise level, ability to work in confined spaces.
  • Sit at a computer terminal for extended periods.

Physical Demands:

  • Sit, stand, talk, and hear during job responsibilities.
  • Requires computer operation using hands and fingers.

Travel:

  • Minimal travel, around 10% expected.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Must be a U.S. citizen.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of PPBE process and DOD accounting procedures.
  • Experience in government contracting and DON reimbursable order processing.
