Mill Creek Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation is looking to hire a highly skilled and experienced
Director of Maintenance for their 66-bed skilled nursing facility in
Winston-Salem, NC

Responsibilities:


  • Maintenance of all equipment in the facility
  • Performing minor repairs to machines, equipment, etc. in timely fashion
  • Maintains a working knowledge of current information on building and equipment operation codes and regulations
  • Responsible for grounds maintenance and outdoors aesthetics
  • Investigates breakdowns and failures of machinery/equipment to determine cause and prevention measures
  • Maintains safe operating and fire prevention practices
  • Checks/Tracks all gauges, thermometers, water gauges on boilers and thermometers in cooler/freezer
  • Requisitions and picks up supplies as needed/within budget
  • Oversees pest control program
  • Creates program designed to eliminate waste and decrease operating expenses
  • Develops/Maintains list of approved vendors for times when contracted repair services are required
  • Maintains a workorder log through TELSchecked daily
  • Charing the Safety Committee and Life Safety Program

Requirements:


  • Must have a High School Diploma or GED; Associates or Bachelor's Degree
    preferred
  • Experience with AC/Freon recovery
  • Must have a working knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and A/C-HVAC equipment
  • Ability to be on call in case of emergency
  • Must be organized and willing to work well with team members
