Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Fleet Manager to oversee our company's fleet operations. The Fleet Manager will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and safe operation of our vehicles and equipment.
This is a key leadership role that requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to effectively manage a team.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the maintenance and repair of company vehicles, including buses, vans, and specialized equipment
- Ensure compliance with preventive maintenance program to minimize downtime and ensure optimal performance of the fleet
- Coordinate with vendors and service providers for vehicle repairs and maintenance
- Monitor fuel consumption and implement strategies to improve fuel efficiency
- Manage the fleet budget, including tracking expenses and identifying costsaving opportunities
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, including DOT requirements
- Develop and enforce lock out safety protocols for drivers and equipment operators
- Maintain accurate records of vehicle maintenance, repairs, and inspections
Experience:
- Proven experience managing a bus fleet maintenance program
- Strong knowledge of vehicle assembly, brake repair, vehicle maintenance, and equipment repair
- Familiarity with diesel engine repair, service technician work, forklift operation, automotive diagnostics, and lift operation is highly desirable
- Excellent problemsolving skills with the ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage a team
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

$80, $95,000.00 per year
