Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Machine Operator to join our team. As a Machine Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining sewing machines to alter garments. This is a tailor shop based position that requires attention to detail and a strong understanding of garment construction.
Responsibilities:
- Operate sewing machines to sew fabric pieces together according to specifications
- Set up and adjust machines for different sewing operations
- Monitor machine operation to ensure quality standards are met
- Inspect finished products for defects and make necessary adjustments
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals
- Follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean work area
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Machine Operator, preferably in garment manufacturing or related industry
- Proficiency in operating sewing machines and understanding garment construction techniques
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Ability to work efficiently in a fastpaced environment
- Good manual dexterity and handeye coordination
